1. The tube diameters range from 13mm to 60mm, with different capacities represented by various lengths when a specific diameter is selected.
    The capacity can be adjusted from 3ml to 500ml. For aesthetic and coordination purposes, tubes with a capacity under 60ml usually use diameters below 35mm, while 100ml and 150ml tubes typically use diameters between 35mm and 45mm. For capacities over 150ml, a diameter of 45mm or above is required.
2. Specifications are for reference only, and customer sizes are avaliable
3. Above tube length are the testing result after the sealing, if customer seals the tubes by himself, the tube length should increase 10-20mm.

Product Introduction

Cosmetic tubes are hygienic and convenient to use. Their surface is brightly colored, smooth, and aesthetically pleasing, making them economical, easy to carry, and able to withstand high-intensity squeezing without losing their shape or appearance. As a result, they have been widely used for packaging cream-based cosmetics, such as facial cleansers, conditioners, hair dyes, and toothpaste in the cosmetics industry, as well as for packaging creams and ointments in the pharmaceutical industry.

1.Tubes and Material Classification
Cosmetic tubes generally consist of the tube and an outer cap. The tube is commonly made from PE plastic, but there are also aluminum-plastic tubes,and full aluminum tubes.

Plastic Tube(PBL): The entire tube is made from PE material. The tube is extruded first, followed by processes such as cutting, flexographic printing, silkscreen printing, and hot stamping.

Based on the tube head, it can be divided into round tubes, flat tubes, and oval tubes. The tube seal can be classified into straight-line seals, diagonal seals, and irregular seals, among others.

 

Aluminum-Plastic Tube(ABL): It consists of two layers- PE material on the inside and aluminum on the outside. After the tube is cut, the two layers are rolled and sealed together.

Based on the tube head, it can be divided into round tubes, flat tubes, and oval tubes. The tube seal can be classified into straight-line seals, diagonal seals, and irregular seals, among others.

Aluminum Tubes:

• Strong Corrosion Resistance: Aluminum tubes have natural corrosion resistance, effectively protecting the contents from external environmental influences, making them ideal for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals with active ingredients.
• Long Shelf Life: Aluminum tubes provide excellent sealing properties, extending the shelf life of products by preventing air, light, and moisture from damaging the contents.
• Recyclable: Aluminum tubes are made from recyclable materials, making them more environmentally friendly and in line with modern sustainable development goals.
• Lightweight and Durable: Aluminum tubes are lightweight yet strong, making them resistant to damage and easy to carry.

Tube caps come in various shapes, typically categorized as flat-top caps, round-top caps, high caps, flip caps, ultra-flat caps, double-layer caps, spherical caps, lipstick caps, and plastic caps. These caps can also undergo various processing techniques, such as gold or silver hot stamping, colored caps, transparent caps, spray coating, and electroplating. Pointed-tip caps and lipstick caps are usually equipped with an inner plug.

Offset printing: is a commonly used printing technique for flat printing, typically used to print high-quality patterns, text, and images in large-scale production.
Can accurately replicate complex graphics and text, producing smooth and delicate fonts without noticeable texture. The font details are clear, making it ideal for small and intricate text and patterns.

Silk-screen printing: is a printing process commonly used for applying designs, logos, and text to plastic tubes. 
When you use silk-screen printing on plastic tubes, especially for fonts, they often have a slight tactile texture, giving them a raised, embossed-like appearance.

Hot stamping: is a method that transfers metal foils (usually gold, silver, etc.) onto the surface of an object through heat and pressure. Unlike screen printing and offset printing, hot stamping creates a special metallic sheen, commonly used to enhance the visual effect and upscale feel of a product.
It is suitable for situations where the product's appearance needs to be enhanced and a high-end feel is desired. It can give text or patterns a unique metallic sheen and is particularly well-suited for monochrome text or logo designs.

Matte Surface
The matte surface has no gloss, creating a softer and more understated look. It does not reflect light, giving the packaging a simple, elegant, and gentle feel.
Matte finishes are also less prone to showing fingerprints and stains, making them ideal for high-end or artistic packaging, such as luxury products, cosmetics, or brands that want a clean and minimalist style.

 

Glossy Surface
The glossy surface reflects light, creating a bright and shiny appearance with a more lively, modern feel. The light reflection makes the packaging look more "sparkling" and eye-catching.
This finish is perfect for vibrant, contemporary packaging designs that aim to stand out on the shelf and attract attention.

A: We can print up to 8 colors on plastic tubes and up to 6 colors on laminated (toothpaste) tubes.

A: Our standard MOQ is 10,000 pcs per design/artwork.

 

3. Lead Time

Q: What is your lead time?
A: The usual lead time is 30-35 days.
It may be shorter in the off-season and a bit longer in the peak season, but we always do our best to support urgent orders.

 

4. Samples & Charges

Q: Can we get samples from you? Do you charge for samples?
A:

• Stock samples: Always free of charge.

• Customized samples with your artwork: A mold/plate fee will be required.
  Customized samples usually take about 7 days to produce and send out.

 

5. Payment Terms

Q: What are your payment terms?
A: Normally, we require 30% deposit before production and 70% balance by T/T before shipment.
For long-term customers with good credit, the payment terms can be negotiable.
